Texas Roadhouse is bringing their famous fresh baked rolls and butter and Andy the Armadillo will be stopping by to meet the kids, give hugs, and take photos!

Sat 5/23, 10am-1pm

Jordan’s Way is a live, national fundraising tour that shows up at underfunded animal shelters and turns forgotten dogs into adoption stories. Full of laughs, fun challenges, and big goals — all to help the animals at Denham Springs Animal Shelter get the care and second chances they deserve.

Sat 5/23, 2-6pm

There will be several vendors set up and a small bounce house for the small children!

Sun 5/24, 2pm

Bring your putters (disc golf putters) and test your putting skills in this cornhole style putting event. Check in will start at 1:15 and last call for check ins will be at 1:50. The cost to buy in will be $5. Cash will be paid out to the top finishers. There will be beer for the top players as well.

I think I’m gonna go to this one. Just need a putter haha.

Mon 5/25, 7-11am

Train 190 Fitness is honoring the fallen with the CrossFit hero workout Murph. This annual tradition is more than just a workout—it’s a chance to challenge yourself, support each other, and remember the sacrifices made by those who served.

This sounds like insanity to me, but here’s the breakdown:

1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, 1 mile run

This event is FREE and open to the public.

Gather in the bookstore and read in quiet camaraderie! Pick a cozy spot among the shelves and dive into your chosen book surrounded by fellow book lovers.

They provide snacks, drinks, and an opportunity to chat about our book choices after our peaceful reading time

Bible time, games, and activities using the Word of Life Olympian program.

Thursdays at 6:30pm

All ages are welcome and it is free to play. Happy Hour all day and $6 Cocktails and $6 Martinis all night too!
