Kiwanis Club of Walker’s annual 5k/fun run is just around the corner. Make sure to register early for tee shirts. Post Race Pastalaya again this year! Lots of great sponsors and booth will be set up!

This is a day to honor the courageous stories of birth mothers on one of the most emotionally complex days of the year. Birth Mother’s Day is both beautiful and difficult. It is a day filled with love, sacrifice, grief, strength, and hope. For many birth mothers, it can also be a day that feels very lonely. This gathering was created so birth mothers have a place where they are truly seen and understood.

May 9th is the next hike with ‘If you can, so can I!’ Meet at Revival Temple for 10 am. They aren’t giving away any details but this will be a special type of hike

Come out and give blood at the Farm Bureau office in Watson. All Donors Receive a Free T-Shirt.

This event is being put on by my insurance agent so figured I’d include this because Curt rocks! I definitely recommend getting a quote from him on any of your insurance needs. Been with him for years, which is rare for me and insurance. (He didn’t pay me to say this haha)

Come flex, wobble, slide and shuffle till you can't get enough Tuesday nights at The Learning Spot's Soul Line Dancing classes.

Line Dancing every Wednesday night starting at 6:30 pm in the Crown Room.

Wednesdays 7-8pm

Understand the flow and context of the Bible to help you read It more and with better understanding.

Meets the 4th Wednesday of every month.

3rd Wed, 6:30-8:30pm

Gather in the bookstore and read in quiet camaraderie! Pick a cozy spot among the shelves and dive into your chosen book surrounded by fellow book lovers.

They provide snacks, drinks, and an opportunity to chat about our book choices after our peaceful reading time

Wednesdays from 7-8pm

Bible time, games, and activities using the Word of Life Olympian program.

Thursdays at 6:30pm

All ages are welcome and it is free to play. Happy Hour all day and $6 Cocktails and $6 Martinis all night too!
