Welcome back to another issue of The Denham Springs Local. Hope you had a fun 4th of July.
Time to get back to real life I guess. Luckily, the week after holidays seem to be pretty easy going work-wise. But we still have some fun stuff going on around town!

SHOUTOUT OF THE WEEK
Le Chien Brewing Company
If you haven't wandered into Le Chien yet, fix that this week. You’ve probably noticed it. The little brewery in the antique district, built inside what used to be an oil change shop, and somehow it turned into one of the best hangouts in town.
The beer rotates constantly, but if Ron's Red Ale is on the board, that's my order. And do yourself a favor and try the boudin balls. The sauce that comes with them is one of the best sauces I've ever had.
Big patio, fire pits, dogs welcome, kids welcome. They even brew their own root beer for the little ones. And if you need an excuse, they have live music most weekends, smash burgers and free bingo Tuesday nights, and line dancing this Wednesday!
So go say hi (right across the tracks from the courthouse) and tell them the Denham Springs Local sent you.
